Atelier De Knock is a third-generation family business in handcrafted ceramics.
Traditional techniques are used to create unique bespoke ceramic tiles and objects.
We make our own colours and patterns, ready to fit your boldest dreams.
From design to production, all is done in-house in the initial studio in Belgium, creating only original designs and tailor-made solutions.
The possibilities are infinite, and we are happy to use our creativity to design a new tiles pattern or to help you with your restoration project.

Our story:
Atelier De Knock was originally founded in 1950 by Paul De Knock and is now run by grandson Jonas De Knock.
His sister Yelle De Knock joined him as a designer in 2020.
Together they bring an artistic and contemporary mindset to the ceramic heritage of the atelier, specialising in made to measure.
There is a great interaction between the technical know-how and craftsmanship of Jonas and the design and colouring skills of Yelle.
They both love experimenting and working out new ideas, challenging themselves into developing new products.
Jonas has a background as a sculptor and Yelle has a background as a painter, textile designer and illustrator.
The whole manufacturing process is done onsite: from the batch of clay to the glazed tile.
From the creative idea to cutting and shaping the tiles. Four hands, two creative minds.
100% made in Belgium.
Jonas & Yelle are supported by their father Carlo De Knock, ceramic craftsman every inch and by Thomas Eggermont, a freelance technical expert in ceramics.
